This is a game changing album for Mark “the Shark” and the boys. It is a departure from their more proggy previous releases Metal and Invasion. Crystal logic takes off on a galloping metal ride and never slows down. Operatic in a non-annoying way, the record opens with Prologue a very early Rushesque distorted vocal over heavy sounds intro then slams into the amazing Necropolis. Shelton’s vocals are rushed and desperate. Some people dismiss it due to his heavy nasal leanings but, given a chance they come off as spellbinding. The guitar riffs are galloping and never get stale. The lyrics are ridiculous, as metal lyrics should be.  Look. I could blather along all day about how amazing this record is but you will never know for yourself until you click play, above.
